I watched Wednesdays show. Is it me or are those guys a bit flakey

It was good . They need different quads and detectors if they plan on hunting in the desret south west thow.

I thought the first show was next week.'
Hmmm

Was it good?

I just did a quick check and they are going to run the first show again from 3:00 to 4:00PM on this coming Wednesday, then the next issue that evening.

I loved the show but I agree that those guys are a bit flakey. My kids actually both liked watching it too. My wife left the room after 10 minutes. :tongue3:

I've got the series set to DVR each Wednesday. It should be fun to watch as long as they can keep changing it up each week. I think last week's Canada episode was good because it's probably nothing like the typical stuff. They went to a crater and the site of a famous fireball. I would have to imagine that most weeks will be spent hunting wide open fields with some sort of drag-behind giant coil system hoping for a prayer. But hopefully I'm wrong and they can give us a wide variety of situations to enjoy.

It was better than I expected from the previews. Sometimes their coil-swinging technique seemed a bit hurried and sloppy, but maybe that works ok for meteorites. I'd like to see them drag about a 5' x 5' detecting blanket behind an ATV and then use the regular MD and magnet stick for locating. I've wanted to hunt meteorites (since I've been heavily into space sciences all my life) but still haven't gotten around to it.
