Bought a new-in-box U-Max from an old friend who is a
multi-line dealer. Before he got here I buried some clad &
metal buttons in the back yard. So we get out there and
the Tesoro wouldn't settle down. I finally remembered the
electric lines in the alley and having trouble with a previous
Tesoro.
John was about to take it back but I said let's try the
front yard. I grabbed a handful of coins and scattered them
out and the Silver U-Max begin giving crisp signals.
Now these were ordinary power lines, not high-lines with
extraordinary voltage. My question is: Is this a peculiarity
of Tesoro's?
