A few items recovered from a spot near the River , Not sure what the Tin plate could be from ? Did find a 1876 H Queen Victoria
large cent , 3 net weights and a cap of of a cigar tin. and 1 bent up Continental spoon. there is lots of crock shards in this location as well :icon_thumleft:

That lid is from the 1930's/1940's for some face cream/makup stuff for women. Found a fully intact one with the white glass jar last year.. Nice digs. There is some silver near by I am sure... :thumbsup: jgas

GREAT TO KNOW THAT ITS A TOP TO A GAR OFF FACE CREAM , LOOKED IT UP AND THAT WAS A COMPANY THAT HAD ITS HANDS INTO EVERY THING , THE 1876 H IS THE 1ST ISSUE OF CANADIAN DECIMAL COINS , PREVIUOS TO THAT DATE WAS THE BANK TOKENS AND TRADE TOKENS. IN 1858 / 1859 THERE WERE THE PROVINCE OF CANADA DECIMAL COINS.

THE FLAT BUTTON IS "STRONG GILT LONDON"
