The neighbors down the street gave me permission to hunt their vacant lot next to their place, and it was a nice evening so I went down there for about an hour last night. I pulled 2 wheaties, a 1953 & 1955D, as well as the remains of 2 pocket watches, a large square nail, sucker's about a third the size of a railroad spike, and a small plate that says, model 803, made in the USA. The neighbor's 2 kids, and three other neighborhood kids were following my every move to the point that I could hardly swing, and the boy made off with the remains of the one pocketwatch. Oh well, the mom was out watching, and I like kids, so I kind of gave them a running commentary as I went along. I'll have to go back someday when they're in school,
,because I think this lot has some potential! Lots of junk so I'll have to take it low and slow.
Keep 'em swinging!!
