Nice artifacts
I was drooling over the Clovis------or is it a Dalton?
Untill I seen the Flake Point/Tool...................Rare artifact,,,,,,,you know anything about the age-or type, was it a point type made on a Flake?.............I have a Standlee point made that way.........................but that one of yours is awesome!

Thanks J.S.,
If the point standing up against the Keokuk axe is the one your talking about it's a Kimswick variety of a Clovis. The knife made on the flake is a notched Paleo Ovid knife. Rare, yes very. Not many found when compaired to Clovis points that have been found as far as sheer numbers. They were commonly made on flakes, but some were worked on both sides.

Awesome.....................
is all I can say..................I have seen many flake tools................
But that one takes the cake.............
Top shelf.........................

Those are great pieces most only dream of finding! I have found alot of points & other stone implements, but I have never found a granit axe or celt.. Those are some beauties! Congrats..

I haven't found any either so don't feel bad, LOL! I acquired these through good friends. Thanks for the complaments!

Killer pieces.
I especially like the pick and the tablet.
Is it broke? What's on the other side?
Looks like cotton stone.

Oh.. Well Im not quite as jealous now ;D Still,, killer stuff!

The other side of the tablet is cross hatched as well, but different. These are the best pics. I have of the other side. If it is broke it was done in ancient times. The finder and I are pretty sure it's clay, to heavy for cotton stone. Thanks for the replies.

Freaking sweeeeet.
You need to take some shots of your entire collection.
I'm anxious to see it!

Very neat stuff, are they all from southern Illinois? Will you have a booth at the collinsville show, and speaking of it do you know the exact date. Been told two different dates.

Taking pics. of the whole collection is easier said than done, lol!

dblski, Yes I will have two tables at the show, and the dates are March 19th is for displayers only, and it open to the public Sat. the 20th at 8 or 9, and also open Sun. as well. Hope to see you all there! All are from IL. and MO., except for the bigger porphyry celt which is from AL.
