New to coin roll hunting - please help :)

I just bought $11.00 in half dollars from my credit union, nothing from 1964 and under. I googled key dates for halves but it really did not help me. What do you look for and are there any good websites to help me?

If you look at the top of the coin roll hunting section there are "stickies" and in there is a thread for newbies- it'll give you all the info you need- HH

Try going to the really big banks in your town they carry rolled circulated coins they won't have an issue giving them to you even if your a non customer and remember in half dollars pre 1965 are not the only silvers 1965-1970 are made up of 40% silver so keep that in mind when your going tru them
