New to Florida

Hello All,

I just moved to Florida. I brought along my metal detectors hoping to use them. Are there any restrictions or laws in Florida pertaining to detecting in parks ect? Thanks.

Probably 90% of the beaches are open for detecting, state parks are off limits unless they are on the beach and then you check with the local rangers, national recreations areas are off limits and the airforce and cape canaveral is off limits....... Most city and couty parks are okay, just check your local laws, dont call to ask, research them yourself....
