Beach & Shallow Water Hunting
I have always been interested in MDing but didn't really live anywhere that it would be easy to learn. I recently moved to Hawaii and what better place to start than beach hunting every week here!?! I ordered a Treasure Hunter Sand Shark off Amazon for pretty cheap. I know it's a Tesoro knock off but I wanted a cheap PI to use on the beach and to snorkel with. Peak tourist season is also starting right about now so hopefully I can get lucky! If anyone else is out here on Oahu, I would definitely love to meet up with some people and learn from some veterans!!

Thanks guys!! I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas!!! I can't wait for it to get here!!!

Awesome place to learn to detect or visit and detect. I have never been there but know a few who have. From what I heard, a PI is the way to go because of the volcanic sand.

Welcome to T-net! Great place to learn indeed!

There is a few guys on Oahu that really know their stuff! Check out
North Shore Treasure Hunters on Instagram. They are very serious on water hunting and do very well, I believe they posted a phone number and their own website, maybe they could help you with some pointers or maybe they don't want another cat in the sandbox. Who knows.
