Detector(s) used
Garrett AT Pro
Primary Interest:
Metal Detecting
I just got into metal detecting primarily because I just purchased a piece of land that has some civil war history as well as ancient indian history on it. I bought a Garrett AT Pro and have been practicing with it in my yard and have found mostly coins, aluminum cans, foil, bolts, etc but I DID just find a gun today! Alright, so it's a tiny toy gun, but it's been fun to text message family and friends telling them I found a gun with my new metal detector and when they get all excited and want to see a pic, I send them this...LOL

Also found a 1952 wheat penny in great shape...hoping to find my brother-in-law's titanium wedding band he thinks he lost in my yard as well. These forums have been a great help getting to know the AT Pro and its settings...thanks, all, for the great forum and info! Looking forward to many more finds.

Congrats, and welcome to the most addictive hobby I know.

Nice little gun. Welcome to TNet, and best of luck to you in the field!

Best you get a concealed Weapons Permit.

BINGO! Nice work. ;)

All of the comments are cracking me up...I've had as much fun reading them as I have joking with people that I found a gun in my yard! haha :laughing7:

Not what I expected but still a cool find. Definitely a keeper!
