From northern California. Started out metal detecting parks with a MXT got hooked. Next dredged for two trips till they banned it here. Got a Minelab 4500 and believe it or not first of only two nuggets I found with it was 55.5 grams. will send picture later they are on my laptop not here in my office. Since then been prospecting with some retired guys from a club I joined. Hard to scrape cracks when first experience looking for gold was dredging found 6 oz. Then the find of a lifetime whit the big nug. I have now built a trommel still don't move as much as a dredge but way faster than panning out buckets.
