Hello everyone, looks to be a cool site / forum! Looking for some help on identifying what type of cannon I have. Clearly marked "mexico" on the inside of the carriage. Any help is appreciated.

It looks like a decorative Louis XIV. My grandkids and I have some small cannons that actually fire. We have a Blast!!

This isn't the first time that exact version of cast-iron cannon-carriage has showed up here in the What Is It? forum. Its distinctive shape, in particular having connected circles in the curled "trail" sticks in my memory... but not any details about the answers which the ID-request got, nor when it showed up here. Maybe somebody with a better memory or better T-Net-Search skills than me can locate that discussion-thread.
