New to this

So I have a few questions since this is a forum. If I want to search someone's property what should I ask or tell them?
There are a lot of corn fields near me and Henry Hudson history near me as well. Should I locate the farmers that plow there? I just don't know the right way to approach this. Thanks.

never hurts to ask that would be the right thing to do...so Ive read... could open more doors just be polite and friendly in a good way cheerful who could re-fuss that...he mite know more about it...

I offer a split with a coin toss for 1st pick.also I let them know my areas of interest and ask theirs.I have even offered to let them use my backup machine and hunt with me..I always show them my equipment(digging tools)and assure them I'll leave it cleaner than I found it.

I have learned a lot , glad I'm self employed. I would have to call in sick a lot more now. Thanks everyone. Walking to someones door freaks me out a little, but will give it a try.
