Ok.. not really "my thing"i like the older stuff... but I have to admit.. seeing this pop out of the ground got my attention!!!
It is pretty heavy.. over an oz.. I included the best shots of the makers marks I could.. anyone have any idea what they mean?? This is only my second gold ring in 20 years.. the other being a 1870s ring about 1/8th the weight..
I assume it is a real diamond since it is a huge solid gold ring.. but I'll have to have it checked..

The gold has been purified, and i might be adding some other scrap to it.. not sure if I am going to sell it.. might just get the little bar back.. stamped with the weight and purity.. the diamond is being recut.. which will increase the value because of the type of cut being done
? Turned out to be a very, very nice diamond!!! $$$$$
