As the tittle says, got me an Equinox 600 after much researching. As of today's date, have yet to use it. Tomorrow, I'll set out to a beach, and try it out. Have no illusions about hitting big treasure, but, do expect to have fun and learn a lot, in the process. Love to hear from other Nox users tips and info!

Welcome Aboard! Take a look at Forum:Florida for information (i.e., clubs, etc.) directly related to your state.

Welcome to TreasureNet!
To begin with just use the beach modes 1&2 and you’re good to go. Look up how to ground balance and noise cancel if needed.
Most targets will sound off at the outer edge of your coil and then at the center of the coil. Use the pinpoint button by pressing the button away from the target and slowly move the coil to the target and as the tone gets louder your getting the center of the coil closer to the target.
While in the dry sand you can try the other modes, if you wish, just to see what you get as far as TID and Tone feedback. Keep the coil level as you swing and fill all your holes. Good luck!

Welcome !
Jon from s/e Michigan :occasion14: :headbang:
