New Year And A New Site

Got out for a couple hours today in between the rain at a new site for my first hunt of the new year. Managed to pull a couple of Mercury dimes, a worn 1916 and a 1943-D, a couple of Buffalo nickels, a 1929-D and a 1936, and 12 wheaties. Also got a very small sterling ring, and the usual pulltabs.

Oh believe me, that 1916 merc was one of the first finds I made that day and it was killing me wondering about the mint mark till I got home and could wash the dirt off. But oh well still a silver anyway!!!

I try and dig everything whenever I can anymore just to try and see if there is anything under the trash since this past year I found 2 Barber dimes in the same hole under pulltabs. Plus this site I'm working now is in the woods so I don't have to be as careful with my holes!!
