TNET members Inspector and G.A.P.metal graciously invited me up to hunt with them and and I finally took them up on the offer yesterday. It was a beautiful day in New York and I am very happy I went. Needless to say, I was pretty beat by the end of 4 hours swinging the old coil after not doing it for so long, but I sure enjoyed the great company and the scenery of rural NY state. We hunted one of Inspector's fields just around the corner from his house and my best find of the day was this beautiful little 12-sided bottle that escaped the plow's wrath somehow.

I cleaned up a lot of broken pottery and farm bits such as an ox shoe, square nails, rusted old iron and tack/harness rings too. During one of our breaks to see what one of my hosts had found, Gary brought out a little bag of silver coins he had brought and said " I brought this to give to you". I started chuckling when I saw this:

You oldtimers to the forum will laugh too, I am sure. This was a day of my life well spent and I am so thankful for the generosity of these two great guys. Thank you much Greg and Gary!!
