Hi,
I'm new to the site. I've never treasure hunted ever but growing up in Oregon we had a creek and even then I used to pretend with a pie tin, to pan for gold. So as of last night my new plastic pans arrived. I'm dragging my husband with me so a pan for him too. Thank you for all of the wonderful information I plan to try the East Fork area. Hopefully the vote won't go through and if it does that it is not an immediate and we have some time. I figure I'll take a day off of work sick. I wonder if I could use gold fever as a excuse. I want to try this before summer and school lets out.
I'm sure I will have questions but I look forward to having some outdoors fun panning for gold. Looking for other areas in Southern California to pan too.
