Newbie - what are boxes and how do you order them?

I've been coin roll hunting for years. Just found this site and am surprised to find it is an organized sport!

What are these boxes that keep being mentioned?

My best find - last year about May I walked into a bank; asked if they had 50c pieces and the teller said, "why someone just sold us a lot of them"... turned out to be about $800 worth of .50c coins. I got roughly $200 worth of 90%; $200 worth of 40%er's and the rest were junk. What was amazing was the coins were all rolled by the year! and labeled with year and silver percentage (where applicable). Even labeled the teller had no idea of their value.

boxes are what they sound like a box with rolls in. and all you need to do is ask to ordor a box of halves

I've been trying to attach photos but the site keeps saying the files are too large. How do you bypass that?

Regards dates: Dates? What dates? I'm going to go back to the "newbie" defense! Since all I've done to date is hoard the 40/90% coins dates were meaningless... I guess I'm missing out on something important huh?
