Newbie with IKES

Went into a bank looking for halves, came out with $220.00 Ikes and $40.00 halves. Did not find any silver in either lot. I have read through some of the older post IRT Ikes. So are they worth keeping or not? I think I will try to sell some at a community yard sell soon and see what I can get. Any Ideas?

I tried to sell mine on ebay for $1.20 each, and got no offers. :P

I think they're worth saving for the future. As the last large sized dollar, I think they are cool and undervalued. May not be worth much now, but when they are all gone from circulation...who knows!

Did you set up a booth or go in and sell them to someone already setup?

Two weeks ago a teller suggested that I go to a certain swapmeet because she had seen coins there. I have not gone there yet to check it out.
