Ok so I just got a used Minelab Explorer 2 and have used it about 2 full battery charges. Still just learning the machine and digging every target I hit. So far several pennies, dimes, pull tabs, beer cans, rule for a combination square, 6" of copper tube, small toy airplane and miscellaneous trash. Several months ago I hired someone to take me out metal detecting near Hollywood S.C. My first find was an early gilded button, just 5 feet in front of the car. The wife found a mini ball and a union button.
