Newcomer making a sluice!

Western Washington GPAA has a few claims up by Sequim, other than that your best bet is waddell.

Ya my friend took my to the one outside the claim because he's a member and we both came up with nothing

Waddell Creek is the spot I was telling you that would put gold in your pan. It would be a great place to really put your sluice to work. I will be there Saturday afternoon and Sunday most of the day. Google Capitol State Forest and look for the PDF map. Most of the clubs in western Wa have at least 1 group outting there a year being a state forest you dont have to worry about claims it's open to everyone. PM me if you wanna meet up I will show you where to go. It is in Thurston County I-5 exit 95 to the town of Littlerock paved roads all the way to the parking area.

I'm thinking about heading down there tomorrow, i examined the creek on google maps and figured I could pretty much go anywhere. Any suggestions.

Middle camp ground. There is a trail past the motorcycle parking.

I would go with ,but Easter duties call.( I am in silverdale)

Last time I went to Waddell all the camp grounds were closed, kind of a hike. If you follow the main road past the camps there will be a blocked off road to your left(blocked by big boulders) there is a bridge down that road about 500 ft or so and a nice trail along the creek.

Awesome thanks man, I'm also in silverdale. We'll definitely have to arrange a trip sometime!

Lets make it next weekend. I have a nugget bucket I want to try out and my bazooka gold trap is just collecting dust.

Already upgrading it to a highbanker!

That looks awesome. Do you think you will have it ready for Sunday? I have a beach HPA we should plan a trip. I would like to see how that Gold Hog mat works with the beach sand.

Searching for pumps as we speak, that's the limiting factor

LOL are those the shelves out of the frig or pantry? For your pump the Walmart sells tsunami pumps pretty cheap mine was $26 from harbor freight 1000 gph at 3 amps can run it most of the day on my old riding lawn mower battery.

Haha went to Home Depot and grabbed some closet shelving, saw someone do it and they said it worked... Ill look into those pumps! I would need 2 at that rate I believe from asking around

Well search bildge pumps on Amazon or ebay I know Johnson makes one that is 2200 gph for around $75. Not sure about the amps on it tho might have to step up to a small car battery you drive a long way to have your battery die on you mid day.

And here is the conversion to a highbanker in action!

Using my friends homelite 1860 gph pump... Ordered a 2200 gph electric pump and it should be here shortly!
