My bank called me today they had filled the dime bag and wondered if I wanted it.
Of course I said yes. I will start going through it tomorrow. Didn't see anything through the plastic.

I will keep everyone up to date on the search

How does this work Ben, as they accumulate dimes, they put them in a bag?

They have a coin counter, sort of like the "coinstars" at the supermarkets, that is free for customers to use takes all coins up to the small dollars. Most banks won't sell the bags off the machines but I have two that will, one is always angry when I ask for a bag the other is nice and calls me when it fills.
I don't get the quarters there because they have a laudramat and car wash that deposit thousands a week, they get 3-4 $1,000 bags every week and the laundramat searches for silver, never found silver quarters there so don't bother. I can buy 1, 5, 10, 25, 50 or $1 bags I only do the dimes and halves. I then dump the coins after searching at several of the 15 banks in the area with coin counters but never at my pickup bank.

Read the beginner's guide at the top of the page. It answers most questions about crhing.

So far after going through about $200 of the bag, a 1961D and a 1964 long way to go

finished the bag!

found 7 silvers 5 Roosevelts, 2 Mercuries and a 1964 silver Canadian
