Found this nice 1957 Nickel June 3. Was buried in about 7" of dirt. This is how it came out of the ground. Pretty good condition. Was using my Ace 250 with the 5" sniper coil . Also found $1.73 cents in clad one was a 1964 quarter. Went MD'ing Wed and Thur and found a total of 12 quarters. Enjoy digging them up and not all pennies . The Ace 250 also really finds nickles, with my old Bounty Hunter I found very few nickels. Hope the pics are clear enough . Have a good weekend. Shane

nice shape for that deep down you would think it be worse shape then that

My nickles are always brown or red....If that quarter is 1964 it is silver :icon_thumleft:

Nice finds. I still use a Bounty Hunter (Pioneer 202) with a 10" coil and I think I have found exactly one nickel with it, out of hundreds of other coins. Thinking of going buying an ACE 250 to gain some depth and capability.
