Today I went to my regular panning spot and started off sluicing a new section but wasn't doing too well so about half way through the day I decided to head to some old locations to see what crumbs I could scrounge to panning. Found a spot where the bedrock stepped down under the bank so I did a little panning... It held some bigger crumbs than I expected lol. Here's some pics. I ended up with 4 grams. 9 nuggets. Biggest was 0.6 gram smallest 0.1.

Nice job. That looks like a much better day than I had. I went to see my tax man.

Very nice day, congrats.

Pretty and valuable, that's where it's at! Congrats! :notworthy: Andi

Nice day! Wish I could get 4 grams, but that's never going to happen in the midwest hehe.

N8 those nuggets looks really crumby! Nice work. I wish you were my next door neighbor, I'd be pestering you to take me with all the time....

Nice Did I misplace my invitation to tag along?

Maybe you are my neighbor and you just don't know it! O_O Lol

Let the pestering begin then......

Apparently I didn't finish the pocket last time... Here's a pic of what was recovered today. 1.5 grams

Also saw a decent little flake sunbaking. I spotted it while walking up the creek.

You shed the blood and collect the prize!

Edwards Crossing

I was thinking of checking out Edwards Crossing. Any thoughts on a good way to work it?

Isn't that on the yuba? Haven't been there so not sure lol. Maybe sluicing? And sniping during the summer.

Yes, it's on the South Fork of the Yuba just above Nevada City.I've been wanting to prospect there as well. I've hiked the trail there before. It's a beautiful spot! I've heard there's blue clay up river, but also heard upriver is a popular spot for intoxicated nudists.
