Nice Finds

This afternoon I took a friend to a field in Sumter County, Georgia, that had been plowed after the wheat was harvested and had had decent rain. This is the whole point that I found. He also found a nice one. I don't have a picture of it.

Nice! It looks like it is covered with little pollips. Maybe a piece of fossil material? How does it look held up to a light?
