Spent 2 hrs at the house from the other day. THis is the one that the neighbor went wacky on me. I met the landlord today and he said that she had no business booting me off the property. I saw her and kinda wanted to say "stand down crazy neighbor, stand down" lol but i was the better person today. I worked the last section of the yard that I didnt hit and managed 11 wheats, a cpl marbles, the toy car and plane, and this cool religous medalion from some conference in may of 1938 thats dated. Plus about 2 bucks in clad. I think im gonna move on from this spot as the finds are starting to dry up. My totals from this spot are:

71 wheats (including a 1909 vdb)
1937 washington quarter
1950 Roosevelt Dime
1964 Roosevelt Dime
1889 Indian head
No date Buffalo nickel

All things considered, a nice day with great finds

Man that is a cool airplane. I would be appreciative if you could put a better pic of it up. I'm a pilot and that is very cool! HH. WH.

My goodness! What was that, three hunts there? It can take me a full hour or so to just make one pass on a football field?!? That's just one pass, in one direction, along the field! Drying up!?!?! I would reconsider. Or, at least, let me know where it is so I can show you where the targets were. ;) LOL

Nice finds!

Id love to see a non rookie atpro user hit this spot! Im sure im missing some, I went in parallel and perpindicular directions in this yard. the yard is about 50x80 feet. The thing is im now pulling clad at 4-5 inches and the renter told me there was extensive yard work done in the past which would explain the deep clad. The last 2 sections i did werent kind to my atpro, i was ground balancing at about 80 but the darn thing wouldnt shut up unless i turned down the sensitivity 2 notches, i dunno why. I thought perhaps it was the detector but when i moved to a different section, it was fine. My time is valuable, i dont have time to be playing the guessing games.........lol kidding of course. :laughing7:

Oh sure, and if I came up and went over this yard for a week or more, I'd more than likely find all of two cents. LOL

The chattering noise? Probably near to an overhead transformer, lines, or possibly a wireless hot spot. Don't be afraid to turn down the sensitivity. You might also try one of the other channels the AT-Pro gives you. One of those might be less disturbed by the particular frequency.

Good job!

nah, im sure you know ur machine way better than me! I didnt think to look for overhead lines. And also i was afraid id lose depth when i turned down the sensitivity but even turned down 2 notches i pulled a wheat at 5" so i can chalk that up to lesson learned:icon_thumright:

If you have the problem again, try changing channels. Might find one that is a lil quieter.

and here is what its supposed to look like Corgi Olive Oyl Die Cast Airplane Popeye | eBay

Olive oil had a little accident in mine, slight decapitation and amputation lol

Wow that is cool as the other side of the pillow! Thank you for the pics and info. Also the disturbance could be from and underground electrical wire. I have that problem sometimes. Not much of a way around it unfortunately. HH WH
