Only 10 minute's into the field tonight and this little beauty surface's,this is the second CW button that I've found(at my house anyway)One in the yard and this one about 35 yard's in the field.(First was a Block "A")No back mark which lead's me to believe it's a Kepi button, any idea's.Next signal that popped out was this what I thought was a bent up button, still not sure but if you look it has shank. Why the hole's :dontknow: Is it even a button?I did bend it back as much as I could just for better pic's.Best 25 min.'s before dinner ever spent.Thank's for looking!!

Its looks like the backing of a button. Something else "snapped" into the holes. What ever it is has got to be out there. Great finds!!!

Looks like the back of a Blowhole type button

Very nice lil Eagle and in great shape. You're rocking those fields... :headbang: Happy Valentines Day! :love7:

Nice button. Looks like a possible repair job to the button. Art

Should of looked at the pic more carefully. I agree with Kuger.

Great looking button finds civilman1! :hello2:
I think it makes the find that much sweeter seeing as you found it on your own property!

Best of luck to you,
Dave

Congrats on more great finds,
your yard reminds me of my own. it's so cool to see what's next and a few minutes can change the time frame of history. I always enjoy hearing your report of what's right out your door. I wish i was on Tnet when i first moved into my home. the finds were excellent and extreme coming from a home that was built by freed slaves and stayed in the family, up until I had the chance to purchase it.

Bill

Joe that is awsome, that field is hold many more secrets.

Did you get my PM about this weekend especially Monday?

I was thinking about doing some digging.

COULD BE A "WHIZZER"
