I was out in an area near my house where I found my first IHP and was quite happy when I found this little relic from the past. The Erie Railroad Co. used to run through this area in the mid to late 1800's but after going bankrupt in the 50's the tracks no longer exist, but I did manage to find a uniform button from them. It's made by Scoville Mfg. in Waterbury.

Thats awesome! I found a very similar one in my neighbors yard marked GRR (Georgia Railroad?) also made by waterbury.

Erie came down this way through my area and into Hoboken where I believe they built the existing crumbling station we still use due to worthless NJ politicians. At one point they became known as Erie-Lackawanna.

Nice!!! Congrats!!!

You got some real history there that thing looks sweet and Local history just tops it off. Graduations
