I went out to a new spot last night for about 45 minutes and plucked a counterfeit British halfpence. Not sure if it's Machins or not as the condition is so poor. In the flesh you can make out the X in REX and NIA of the reverse. One of my poorest colonials, but still a colonial. I decided to go back this morning and found a nice pocket dump, 6 Wheaties 1938 and earlier, 1927 and 1936 Buffalos and a really nice 1938 Merc Dime. I scanned it by itself and the scan still doesn't do justice to the coin as there is still a lot of mint luster. Nice pocket dump with 9 coins, newest being 1938.
