I dug this saturday and just got to cleaning it up last night, I was out of peroxide and I knew this wheat would be a good canidate for a peroxide bath, I think it came out just awesome....a nice rich chocolate color, no corrossion anywhere.
In 5 yrs I have dug WELL over 3,000 wheat pennies and this is the best (most valuable) wheat I have ever dug, sure I have gotten a few $5, $10 dollar wheats, but this is my first real decent semi key.....I guess I was due!
what do you think it would grade at? I am hoping possibly Fine?

I'd say it was XF on the obverse and VF on the reverse. If it wasn't for the wear or poor strike on the reverse it would grade XF also. Nice find!

It is hard to tell in the pics but looking at the hair above Abe's ear and the wheat lines on the reverse, I would grade it a little higher. Maybe VERY FINE. The coin has been in the ground for a while so that will lower the grade.

Very fine details is my answer. Nice coin!!

Awesome coin! I also agree, VF

I would say XF 45 on the Obverse and VF 35 on the Reverse.. Net 40. Nice dig!
