When you think that a pattern has emerged in this hobby (and don't we like to think that we can discern a pattern) something like this happens.
It was a bank that had previously yielded nothing but it had been a while since we had last asked. It just started to rain as my son walks out with 17 CWR of halves along with 13 loose halves. He knew he had 2 silver halves in the loose halves and we sorted through the rolls in the car. Results were 3 90% and 45 40% ... sure glad we made that stop.
The next 11 stops at banks over the next couple of weeks yielded nothing, despite searching over 3000 coins ... so it goes.
