nice SLQ and few others

I have kind of been in a drought since the weekend all I have found is wheat pennies and one hotpoint token. got out today for about 3 hours and found 3 silvers including the 1917 Type 1 SLQ!

Nice finds.

I have not found one yet, but when someone posts a SLQ, how do you know if it is a seated or standing liberty?
 
Great silver finds there 3 silvers on 1 hunt is great congrats.

An SLQ or Standing Liberty Quarter means simply that....Lady Liberty is Standing.

On a Seated...as the name implies, Lady Liberty is Seated on a throne of sorts. See pic below.
