Went out yesterday to a house built in 1952. The ground was frozen so I left and went to the fair grounds and looked for surface finds. After 2 hours there it started to rain so I went to a flea market for more surface finds. Ended the day with $5.68 in clad. Today it warmed up and the ground thawed, so I went back to the house from 1952. Only found $1.04 there in 1/3 of the yard. Notable finds were 8 wheats, 1942 Canadian penny, a clad Kennedy half, and a 1936 quarter. I may have to wait for spring to finish the back yard since it was way too wet for me to to dig plugs. I then decided to stop at the old football practice field on my way home. In 45 minutes I only found $.73, all clad except for a 1942 Merc.

Nice finds! Thanks for sharing...

You are lucky that it warmed up a bit for you. Nice couple of silver saves!

Sure am, got into the high 40s today, but it is going to get down to 16 by morning and stay low for the next week. May have been the last day to hunt for sometime:sad1:

Great start!, 2 silver in one day is great

Great finds thanks for sharing.

Thank you for sharing! Here in MA, we had one warm (54 degrees) day; now back to the freezing temps for a long time.
