Yesterday was just to nice, some sun shine, warm, I had to get out and hunt, hit two spots spent less than an hour at the first spot, I have hit it for the past couple of years (about four hunts), last year I got a buffalo and a Merc dime around this tree I thought I would try it again today, didn't have high hopes since I have hammered this tree area in the past, ended up with this 1919s wheat, I think why I missed it all the other times, I think it was on edge. love these pre 1920's Wheaties's, hit a second spot I never hit before real close to the house this Middle School had a Baseball field, Ended up with 10-Q, 9-D, 1-N, 33-P, 1 Spoon ring (At first I thought Silver) but just plated

Good looking group of finds!
The spoon ring is beat up, but still a cool find!

King-John, I totaly agree with you about the sunny weather! It just awesome to get out on these days and the little extras like our finds are just bonuses eh? The spoon ring should have a makers mark on the inside with a date to learn more history!

Glad to see you got out and enjoyed the :icon_sunny: weather!

Very cool finds, just when ya think a place is hunted out, there's always something left for you to discover. :icon_pirat:

Man that would have covered my BK breakfast. I should have hit your ground. My was cruel today.

WTG on your hunt nice mess of clad change. Ground is still to frozen here. I went out and I could not even get my trowel in the ground...Matt

Nice wheat...too bad we can't come up with a way to restore them.
