Nice sunny day..

I took a walk down the Meadows yesterday and am I glad I had my sunglasses,over 120 acres of flat open ground with snow cover sure would have been bad on the eyes.

No pics of it though to much white. The eagles will be mating soon,I see they have added to the new nest..




beavers really strip bark that's about 5' up.




Geese must be getting ready too,hundreds out there..




got home and set up peanuts for the crew..





had takers in no time..




these cardinals really stand out in all that tangle.





Darky gets more handsome all the time.



6:00 AM WET HEAVY SNOW..




little guy looks bewildered looking for the suet..

I saw one of those little woodpeckers today. I was walking the dogs and heard pecking in a tree above me. I was looking for where it was coming from and couldn't see it. Then it moved and it was right in front of me no more than 15 feet away and I didn't have my camera. If I'd a had it I would very likely gotten great detailed close up shot of it. It's not a bird I see a lot of times around here.
