Nice Teller Score

[CW3(ret) US Army]

Did a dump at one of my dump banks today. After I finished dumping, I went to another bank 2 doors down. I stop there occasionally to see if they have any halfs, usually they don't. Today, the teller said he had $11 in halves in a envelope. He said he had saved them for me as I seem to be the only person who stops in there looking for halve dollars. I took them all. Out of 22 coins, 13 were silver! 7 90s (All Walkers) & 6 40s. The results were:

1969 - 6

1940 - 1
1942 - 1
1943 - 4
1945S - 1

This was my best find in some time.

Awesome.. I bet you were crapping yourself when you saw all those walkers.. Makes me want to go check out those banks I have asked for halves at many times with no return.

Very nice! Just proves once again that you never know. If I hit a tellers score like that I would pop in there a little more often, looks like the tellers aren't interested in silver or old coins and that's a good thing that's getting harder to find everyday.
