First target a New York Button followed by many other various ones throughout the hunt. Suspender clip and buckle, tack buckles, rivets, grommets, 4 IHPS, 1 Wheat, 1 V Nickel, Small silver off of a piece of jewelry with 1 small stone and 2 teeny ones, one of my favorite items from the hunt aside from the coins, a 1921 VA Dog License.
The deus killed it in the iron. This is just one of the homesites on this large property and i wasn't able to even come close to working just where this one home was. Property has been inhabited since pre rev war times so hopefully the other spots or fields will yield some older relics as time goes on. Looks like it'll turn out to be a decent spot!
There are however a massive abundance of paper shell shotgun brass all around this site I searched. It made my button hunting daunting to say the least.
Happy hunting yall

Congrats! Nice finds so far! Love all the IHP

That looks like a HELLAVU hunt!!! CONGRATZ...

Thanks! The small ornate silver piece was right next to the crushed ring piece which I just saw has sterling stamped on the inside of it as well :) not Spanish silver but old jewelry in any case I'll take it!

What is the large round bent item and the small round item with 3 holes near one edge?

Nice hunting! Best of luck going forward.

Your guess is as good as mine, it's got writing on it but can't make it out

Congratulations on the nice coin and relic hunt! :occasion14:

That Virginia dog tag is awesome. I'd pay $10 dollars for it.

Looks like the back plate of a pocket watch where the key would go through to wind it up. Great start to the site, well done.
