Nice weather over the weekend

I took my dogs for a walk around a little lake near by yesterday as the temps got as high 57. Lots of geese were there and they seems to be very happy with the warm weather and the lake was free of ice in places, as they were splashing in the water and making a lot of noise of joy. I saw a new duck I've not seen before and believe I've identified it correctly as a Gadwall duck.

You disappeared for a time there didn't you? You went AWOL throughout a few months in the fall or so it seemed.? You weren't locked up into TN jail where you?

No... just on hiatus from here.

The wide variety of duck species with all their different colors is amazing to me .Even those that may not have flashy colors are still beautiful to me . You captured that with your shot of the Gadwall . Thanks for taking the time to post it's picture
