I think this is the nicest point I've found to date... From the Philly area. Anybody know what type this one is?

Nice find! Thanks for sharing...

I'm not good at typing points but you found a nice one. Thanks for sharing.

I would probably call that a Brewerton Eared Triangle...

that is one sweet instu picture.

That is a beauty in form, color and material. It looks to have very slight shoulders so I would probably call that one a Fox Creek / Steubenville unless the base or lower sides were heavily ground. Fox Creeks' from a bit south of you are usually made of rhyolite or argillite, but I would prefer them in a colorful jasper like yours for sure. HH

Thanks everyone... It was suggested on another site that it's a fox creek as well... I'd like to think it's older, but I'm going with Fox Creek. Yes, this one is jasper, though I did find an argillite fox creek at the same site.

What a beauty congrats on that one

Very nice piece..congrats

Yeah, could be a Fox. Usually more base to them, but like I said before about points, they do vary with all types. And in the end, its a smart looking point to have in a frame!!

Pretty stone.
