Hello guys! My first postworthy finds this season...at last! Got my new E-Trac this spring, but sadly haven't got much time for hunting. I'm only on my second set of batteries with it, but I think I'm starting to get the hang of it. :D

Weather's been quite rainy the past two weeks, but last night was nice, so I decided to go to a new lake beach I hadn't hunted before, and - those rings I found - I think no one else have either... 8) It was a three hour hunt or so, and I think my trash-to-goodies ratio was pretty nice this time! ;D Four of the rings are .925, but the first one is junque I think. €9.00 in spendable this time, which makes about $12.65 + those usual useless old markka pennies.

Well, here's the pics:

Yeah, I prefer hunting at night, because there's no people with their stupid questions at that time of the day. Last year was my first detecting season, and I think I did pretty well. It requires some serious diggin' to beat my last season, but who knows what's gonna happen, so I just need to keep hunting hard when ever I can! :D

looks like your gettin back on track pretty good there :icon_thumright: nice finds

Hey Paul!

Nice Digs! Sorry I missed it earlier!

Haven't seen much of you this year yet. Thought maybe you got stuck in some sheet metal ductwork somewhere!

Glad to hear that you got an Etrac! Great machine! You night hunt with a headlamp? I also love to hunt at night, and use an LED headlamp.

Wishing you the best!

Good Luck,
Mark

Hi Mark! It's good to hear from you too:)

I've been stuck mainly to garage with my off-road suzuki lately. Now that I'm on a vacation, I'm having more time to detect finally!

Yeah, I got the E-Trac and I'm loving it! Who wouldn't? ;D I think I need to get me a Pro-pointer next... I'm using a LED headlamp, but it doesn't get too dark at night this time of year, so last night was the first time I had to use it. And I also found a little bit of something too, but I'm gonna make a new topic for it later today...

Paul,
Good luck on your second season . I've yet to get my first MD season started. I'm a cool weather type hunter. tha south's heat and humidity kick's this old man's azz :laughing7:. on that haul of rings.

Danny

Hey Paul, (NO, Hei Paul)
Shows how long it's been since I was in Finland! I didn't even think of the early summer being light all night!

Glad to hear that you are getting out now!

Best of Luck!

Mark

Rings are always welcomed. Nice hunt.

Well, the only other detector I've ever used is the Ace250, so... I think you can do the math by yourself, lol! ;D

Thanks!

Going out at night is always good! You get to hunt alone most of the time without anyone bothering you, it's not too hot, and the darkness is no problem with a good headlamp. The only thing I don't like about it, is that sometimes I feel like being eaten alive by those flying blood suckers swarming around me. But nothing you couldn't live with, with a can of Off in your pocket! ;D

You had a great night hunt......Matt
