nightmare begins..

So decided to clean yard around house.
Not expected such nightmare
Nails every 20cm.. i don't know how kids who runs around not injured.
Cleaned only 3x10meters and now i have around 2kg of metal.


Expecting to find atleast 1 coin

I had a lot of days like that too! On my first coin day I found a clad dime and a lincoln... that was quite a few hours of hunting that day as well. I can certainly say I have improved as a 'tectorist since then.

I’d buy or rent a strong �� magnet. Some of that material may be right under the grass line. I had a metal roof installed this year and the contractor told me they got all the screws up they dropped. I took my detector and a magnet and found a quart jar of screws.

i found already some coins in fields some russian and german.
But at this moment my plan to find all tiny metals around house. And like someone mentioned, magnet could help for sure

Looks like ring, but i don't know.. maybe its just part of random mechanism? Equinox shows 17 number, but what means this? I thought its aluminium, but cant squeeze.

My yard has similar yields. Mostly old iron farm bits. Hopefully you'll find a sweet spot! Congrats on the ring find though.
