Nipton,Calif., Less than a 1 horse town,lots history,and outlaw activites

Majority of my photos were to large for this forum. There were 2 large heavy safes sitting on the side of the road,looks like they were blown open,perhaps from a railroad car. Been there a long time,both halfway filled with dirt and other debris. Got the badge at the general store.
Everything their is rundown, poor shape. Just a few bikers hanging out,Hells A. and a couple others on rental Harleys, and what looks like 1 town hobo.Plenty of old shacks in the outer desert areas,a bit spooky.

Tom, I did no detecting this time, its only about a 1.5hr drive, I will go back out soon. Baglady the badges I think date to the 1950"s,,they have a old style elongated hook pin on the reverse side.
