I went to a local park that is directly behind a row of late 1800's houses. I found a half of a musket ball first. Then in between two 200 year old+ oak trees, I got a solid, repeatable tone and 50 VDI on Julio. Dug down 4" to find this: An 1867 Shield Nickle! Worn for sure, but still legible. My oldest US coin to date. I barely touched this park and will be going back...Also found a little happy face/ BFF kid's necklace in a different park. Came home with about $6.00 in clad for charity. Thanks for looking, Happy Hunting to all of my TNet friends! Sub
