Can you help? I’m pretty certain this isn’t Native American, but I thought perhaps this group would know which direction to point me in to figure it out. I have no idea what it is, and it was gifted to me. The person who purchased it told me it’s very, very old.

I never really had a good explanation on what it was. I’d appreciate the help, and mods, apologies since I pretty much know this isn’t the correct location to post. The “what is it” location wasn’t able to figure it out, and I thought this group would know best.

Thanks.

Four arms. Might be Shiva, Hindu diety.

It does have a Hindu or India look to it. Is the back a tree? That could represent the Tree Of Life. No clue actually. Just throwing out some ideas.

Depiction of a Hindu goddess Saraswati I believe.

Yup. That's it. Four arms + an instrument. I couldn't tell what she was holding. Those Hindus sure have an assortment of gods and goddesses.

Yeah that’s an odd one ... you know what the metal type is? Are there any markings / inscription on front or back ?

Thanks everyone. There aren’t any markings on it that I can see. It almost looks like dirt is on the back in some of the creases. It looks and feels more like a stone than metal. Could be wrong.

Any idea of an age? I wish I could find out more about it, but it’s one of those gifts that a friend bought from the Philippines. Apparently came from a thrift store that oftentimes had very old things in it. That’s all we know about it.
