I found a few pieces of clad this morning and then decided to go for a walk and look for Indian relics along the Neuse River.
None found amongst all the trash. >:(

With only a water in my hand i walked under the bridge were i parked and came across an area were small pieces of rusty steel had gathered and found this Beauty amongst the iron.

I`ve already searched a great deal of makers mark sites to no avail.
The large stone looks to be Amethyst but not sure.

Looks pretty old to me.
Anyone else got any ideas on age or maker?

Thanks in advance,

Happy Hunting All

Looks old, it's different that's for sure...just the shape of it. Awesome find

 RR

[ I will take it any way I can find it. Good find

Thanks for your reply`s all.
I may have to put this one in my new display case as an un-identified manufacturer item.

Nice ring! It appears to have the "victorian" look, but also looks a bit like art deco. With the latter, your ring would be from the late teens to the 30's.
Amethyst was also quite popular in the art deco era. Better go hit the area with the tector.

Take it to a jeweler and see what they say. It looks old and it's awesome in my opinion. Way to go!!

Looks like a Amethyst CZ Marcasite and I doubt its very old, but who knows.

Not sure if anyone on here knows of the site or not, but you might look around for the hallmark.

of even get on their forum and ask.

Awsome looking ring, looks very victorian! :headbang: :headbang: :headbang:

Great find brother!

The mark looks like a TM.

If that is the case, it could very well stand for Taxco Mexico!

Not sure of the era, but they've been working with silver down there for years.
