As usual SRV is right on the money. I've found one intact trade pipe, and a dozen or so other broken ones.
 

Those trade pipes are great finds. I have found one similiar as well as a trade axe. Some people collect nothing but trade goods. Great find. I would call that a successful hunt. :thumbsup:

Was just going over the new peice and it has an A as a mold mark in the bottom of the bowl. Anybody know how to ID this to a kiln
 

Good find there bsit, that ones in good shape. I've got one that looks exactly like it. I'm going see if there are any marks on the bottom.
 

Here's you a link to the Point Pleasent, Ohio Clay Pipe factory. I have seen large quantities of the culls, or damaged Pipes, that peple have found along the river close to the factory. There was a guy at the Ripley Show a few years back that had a large amount of these Pipes that were all fused together. There must have been over a 100 Pipes in that large mass.
