ELIZABETHVILLE — A Valley View man who walked into a convenience store early Saturday morning, asked where he could buy drugs and smashed a glass door on his way out now faces criminal mischief charges, according to state police at Lykens.
Authorities said Julius Reynolds, 40, entered Koppy’s On The Square, 1 W. Main St., at 4:55 a.m. and asked a clerk where to find drugs. The clerk, police said, jokingly told him he could find drugs on Third Street.
There is no Third Street in Elizabethville, authorities said.
Minutes later, Reynolds returned to the store with a female and told the clerk he couldn’t find Third Street. After the clerk told Reynolds there was no Third Street in the borough, Reynolds stormed out of the store, smashing a glass door on his way out, police said.
Criminal mischief charges will be filed in Magisterial District Judge Rebecca Margerum’s office, Elizabethville.
(The Joke around here is, You want Drugs or
a Hooker, Go to 3rd. Street
in Harrisburg. This is why the Clerk said
3rd. Street
