No sound with the headphones out? (705)

Hey guys,

Has anyone ever had their 705 not produce sound when the headphones are out? The volume is up in both sound modes (headphones in and out) but it only makes sound when the headphones are in. If I do a factory reset on it it works sometimes, but sometimes it doesn't.

Anyone know if this is a common issue?

No this is not common. You might have to send it in.

It's the jack that's gone funky. No big deal. Since I never hunt w/o phones, I'd never know if mine ever did that or not.
You can send it in if you want, but for something as minor as that I wouldn't bother.

Yeah, I dont usually hunt without the headphones, it's more of a annoyance thing. Knowing my machine is a little faulty. i might send it in, I dunno. Thanks guys

Try cleaning the female jack with a Q-Tip and alcohol first.
