That's an interesting little dude! I can't say I have ever seen any banner stones from my area. Cool!

Correct me if I'm wrong but, that banner stone looks to me that it was broken then re-drilled and put back into service. Just a thought. Its a nice find for sure.

That's right it was put back into service, it all together though.

It's really a cool piece no doubt! The fact that it was broken then repaired really makes it a special piece in my opinion. I know that I would be happy to bring that home. Matter of fact, it's one of those finds that you have to look at several times after you find it, on the drive home, and then two - three times later in the evening. I know I do when I get lucky enough to get something that nice. Congratulations to the finder.
