That’s a beautiful point ! Can you post a few close up pics of the base on the side without the tan line running thru it ? Is that fluted ?

Yeah I know I just mentioned it so you would know which side I was asking about .... I was just curious about the base , in the first pic you posted it almost looked like it may have been a fluted point which would be important.
 
Sure got what looks to be at least an attempt to flute. Since we don't know what the maker wanted to do, its evident that He made a beautiful point. It was probably, when first made, a longer implement that was shortened by use to its now size. Very nice paleo.

That’s what I first thought it was probably a lot bigger when first made and has been resharpened a few times
